What’s in the sim racing zone?
Throughout Saturday and Sunday, there’ll be a Formula 1 2023 racing competition. We’ll have 6 driving cockpit simulators and you’ll be racing on the US Grand Prix track. Think you've got what it takes?
How does the competition work?
There will be a morning and afternoon qualifying sessions. Each session takes place over 3 hours and each drive is 3 laps so you get multiple attempts to make the fastest lap. You can try your luck as many times as you want throughout the qualifying period.
If your lap is fast enough and you qualify for the finals, you and five of the fastest drivers will be competing against each other for the fastest lap. Each driver gets 6 laps and the fastest one wins.
What times are the qualifying and final races at?
On Saturday and Sunday, the qualifying sessions are at 10am and 1.30pm. The finals will then be at 1pm for the 10am qualifiers and 4.30pm for the 1.30pm qualifiers.
What are the prizes?
For both finals on Saturday and Sunday, these prizes will be up for grabs:
1st: PlayStation 5 console
2nd : €200 Currys voucher
3rd : €100 Currys voucher
Each winner will need to provide their name, contact number and email so we can contact you to arrange your prize.
