Currys is aware of a rise in scams that fraudulently use our brand to deceive customers into revealing personal or financial information.
These scams often imitate genuine Curry’s communications using similar or matching branding to ours. These may appear as emails, text messages, social media posts, or even phone calls.
Please remain vigilant. Currys will never ask for sensitive personal information—such as your bank account number, credit card details, or passwords—via unsolicited contact.
If you ever have doubts about a message claiming to be from Currys, do not respond. Instead, contact our customer support team directly via the contact details found on our Contact Us page on our website or visit your local store for confirmation.

If you believe have been scammed, they take the following immediate steps:
- Stop all contact with the scammer/abuser
- Do not make further payments or provide any further information
- Tell your bank or card provider immediately if you paid by credit card or debit card
- Report the incident to your local Garda station as a criminal matter
- Collect records (emails or other communications) related to the scam or abuse
- Secure devices by resetting passwords and updating anti-virus software
- Report the incident to consumer protection agencies for advice and to prevent other people scammed
