What is Comic Con Dublin?
Comic Con Dublin is organised by Comic Con Ireland. In a similar vein to Comic Con in America, Comic Con Dublin celebrates everything cosplay, gaming, pop culture and fandoms. It takes place in Dublin’s Convention Centre and this summer it will be on across August 8th and 9th.
What can I expect at Comic Con Dublin?
There will be endless thing to see and do! If you like to cosplay, there will be costume contests – not to mention the buzz of seeing other cosplayers! There are meet-and-greets with actors, voice actors, illustrators and artists. There will also be plenty of stalls to peruse with everything from comics to gaming merch to local artwork.
What are Currys doing at Comic Con Dublin?
Currys will have a range of interactive gaming experiences through Comic Con. There will be the Currys Arcade with the latest playable games and chances to win some prizes. There will also be some interactive gaming challenges where you can test your skills and be in with the chance to win exclusive Currys prizes.
Our Gaming Ambassador, Chris O’Gara AKA The Gara Show will be busy hosting live sessions across the weekend. He’ll be chatting to fellow creators and some of the special guests so get ready for some lively discussions and plenty of gaming chat and giveaways!
