Registering your product
Registering your Currys purchases and keeping up to date on the latest safety advice doesn't need to be a big job. We've compiled everything you need to know in two short points, to make sure you and your family are safe at home.
Always keep a hold of your sale receipt. It's an important record of your purchase, and it'll display the contact details we hold for you - just in case we need to get in touch. If you've misplaced your original receipt, the details are incorrect, or you just want peace of mind, you can follow the second step below.

| Hazard | The product presents a risk of fire as it is possible for an internal short circuit to occur during normal use, causing the tumble dryer to ignite. |
| Corrective action | Montpellier has initiated a modification programme. Owners are strongly advised to stop using the product immediately.
UPDATE 1st August 2025: Owners of appliances in scope of this Safety Report, which have been modified before 1 August 2025, are warned that a fire risk still exists, and that they should stop using the products immediately. |

| Hazard | The issue relates to a component used in a small number of gas cookers. The concern is a potential risk of a gas leak from the lid shut-off valve following repeated product use over time affecting a batch of units produced between October 25th and November 22nd 2024. |

| Hazard | Top cover on some products can become deformed if subjected to significant weight placed on top of it. If liquid is spilt on a deformed cover, the liquid could drip inside the appliance, this could cause an electrical short circuit which may mean the machine stops working or, in an extreme case, a fire. |
