The scratch-resistant SteamGlide soleplate moves over your clothes smoothly for fast and efficient ironing. And the powerful steam boost generates up to 400 g of steam per minute – enough for even the thickest of fabrics.

Safe on all ironable garments

OptimalTEMP technology protects your clothes by adjusting the temperature to suit different fabric types. You won't need to pre-sort your laundry or keep adjusting the settings. The iron is also guaranteed not to burn your clothes.

For silks and other delicates, use the ECO mode. It's gentler on your garments and uses 30% less energy, saving you money on bills.

Handy features

Finish all your ironing without needing to refill – the Philips GC7842/46 has a large 1.5 litre water tank. There's also an anti-calc system that tells you when it's time to descale, so you can easily keep your iron clean.

Small items (laptops, smart tech, small appliances and TVs under 43”)

These are delivered by our courier partners. Delivery usually takes no more than 5 - 7 days. Deliveries take place 5 days a week Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Large items (large kitchen appliances, large screen TVs over 43”)

These are delivered by our specialist delivery teams. Deliveries take place 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays).

Delivery charge: €34.99

Our Availability Checker is a handy little tool for quickly finding out about stock availability & delivery information. It can tell you:

Our pay & collect service

You can now order your item(s) online, and safely collect them from your chosen store within an hour of placing your order.

Pop in store to collect your items within an hour of ordering them, free of charge (depending on stock availability). You can also choose your collection day. You’re welcome!

Once you’ve selected “collect in store” at the online checkout, we’ll email you your confirmation & collection details. When you do come to collect your item(s) make sure you bring this confirmation email, and the last four digits of your payment card.

We also offer a “deliver to store” option for selected products and stores for the same price as home delivery.

Returns and refunds

If you purchased online and you have changed your mind you can return your items within 30 days even if you have opened it for inspection. It must be returned as new and where possible, in its original packaging.

If your item develops a fault we will offer either a repair, exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 30 days of purchase (or delivery or installation). If the fault with your product occurs within its guarantee period (normally 12 months from delivery) we will offer you a prompt repair service. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault.
