It’s a Wonderful Life
The classic of all classics. If you think old movies aren’t for you, It’s a Wonderful Life will change that. As there’s two films to get through, it’s perfect for cosying up for an evening this week.
Angela’s Christmas
Angela’s Christmas is a short but extremely sweet movie, about a small girl with a big plan for the local baby Jesus. Filled with heart-warming moments and showing the pure innocence of children, it’s a lovely 30 minute watch. If half an hour feels too short, you can follow it up with Angela’s Christmas Wish.
Klaus
Klaus is a gorgeous, animated film about a disastrous postman who’s sent to frozen town, Smeerensburg, where its townspeople are divided in a bitter feud. As he struggles to get the town on his side, he discovers a reclusive toymaker called Klaus and his life changes for the better. Aside from being visually stunning, it’s a sweet movie that will get you right in the feelings.
Arthur Christmas
Another animated film, Arthur Christmas follows Santa Claus’ youngest son as he tries to find his place in the family business. Santa’s eldest son implements a high-tech operation for the annual Christmas present delivery, but this time it goes awry as one present is left behind and it’s up to Arthur to save Christmas.
