What changed?

To reduce electronic waste and make things simpler for customers, the EU adopted the Common Charger Directive in 2022.

Wattage Levels: The range generally supports four power levels: 45W, 65W, 100W, and 140W. Approximately 95% of laptops will require a 65W charger.

Consider a "GaN" (Gallium Nitride) charger, as they are smaller, faster, and cooler than traditional chargers.

Some brands (specifically HP and Lenovo) have indicated that using certain third-party chargers could potentially impact manufacturer warranty. We offer both.
