This week, we were brought to Santry for the second episode of the new season of DIY SOS. In this episode, we met mother of four, Laura Costello and her family. Laura was suddenly left paralysed after a rare embolism while giving birth to her fourth baby in June 2020. While she’s made great progress, her home wasn’t suitable for her wheelchair and new range of needs. Through DIY SOS and a team of volunteers, Laura’s dream of being home with her husband and four children became a reality.
