Why does Black Friday start so early?
Black Friday takes place on the first Friday after the Thanksgiving weekend in the US, so most Black Friday Ireland sales will take place on Friday 27th of November 2026. However, some Black Friday deals in Ireland are often available beforehand. These pre–Black Friday sales promotions help the more organised shoppers beat the rush and bag bargains before the run-up to the holidays.
We recommend you try to make your purchases as soon as you see deals appear on the Currys website to ensure you get in while stocks last. You can also register now to get the latest updates on our Black Friday deals and promotions.
