1. What is this game about?
Currys ‘12 Days of Techmas’ is an advent calendar style game which rewards players every day with exciting tech prizes and Currys vouchers! Prizes are awarded randomly and not dependent on skill, although you must drop at least one gift in a chimney to be eligible. See full T&Cs here

2. Do I need to download anything to play?
No, the game runs directly in your browser on mobile or desktop - no app installation required.

3. Do I need to be a member of Currys Perks to play / win?
No, you do not need to be a Perks member, although we encourage you to sign up for regular offers and promotions!

4. How long does the game take to play?
There is a 45 second time limit.

5. How does the scoring system work?
You must score at least 10 points (1 gift dropped into a chimney) - you are then eligible to randomly win a voucher which will be revealed instantly, and you will also be entered into the daily prize draw (a different tech product each day, as displayed on the advent calendar). If you play all 12 days and score a minimum of 10 points each day, you will also be entered into the grand prize draw for a €1,000 Currys voucher.

6. How old do I have to be to play?
You must be aged 16 years or older in order to be eligible to win a prize.

8. I clicked on an advent calendar box but nothing happened.
Only unlocked days (today’s box) can be opened. Tap the box glowing in white.

9. It’s asking me to fill a form again. Why?
The personal details form is mandatory every day to unlock the game so that the system cannot be abused by inauthentic users (e.g. bots), and so we can keep track of your play streak.

10. The game tutorial keeps looping.
Complete the full tutorial, then press ‘sleigh off’ to begin.

11. The game is not loading.
Refresh your browser or try opening the game in a new tab.

12. The game feels too zoomed in/out.
Reset your browser zoom (pinch or use 100%) and reload.

13. The sound isn’t working.
Check your device volume and unmute the game in settings.

14. The page looks broken on my phone.
Turn your phone to portrait mode and refresh.

15. I played the game but couldn’t see my prize.
Enter your email in the box after the gameplay is finished - the prize (if won) reveals only after this step.

16. I have already entered my email at the start of the game - why do I need to enter it again to reveal if I have won a prize?
The game uses different backend methods to register users to the game, and then to distribute prizes so this is a necessary step.

17. My streak has reset, why?
This happens when you use a different email. Use the same email as all previous days.

18. I got “No prize today” - is that normal?
Yes, prizes are randomized daily. Play every day to increase your chances.

19. How do I win the daily tech prize?
If you have successfully completed the game and entered your email to ‘reveal prize’ then you will be entered automatically into the daily tech prize draw (even if you didn’t win a voucher upon clicking ‘reveal’). Check your email within 72 hours to see if you have won!

20. How do I become eligible for the €1,000 voucher?
Play all 12 days to enter the draw for the €1,000 voucher.

21. I won a voucher but I can’t find the code.
Your reward is saved in your streak bar — tap the pink flame icon to copy it.

22. My voucher expired or isn’t working.
Check the expiry date and terms listed next to your code.

23. Can I play multiple times?
Yes - but rewards can only be claimed once per day.

Eligibility

Entry

To enter the promotion, you must complete the 'Santa's Sleigh Drop' game with a score of 10 or above, and enter your personal details as prompted. The promotion will run from the 1st until the 12th of December 2025 inclusive. Participants may play once per day.

Winner Selection

Both prize types will be awarded at random. Voucher prizes will be awarded instantly and issued with a unique code for use on Currys.ie.
Daily prize winners must have scored above zero (minimum 1 gift successfully dropped in a chimney)to be eligible to win.

• Daily Big Prize winners will be selected at random after the close of each relevant day and contacted by Currys via email within 72 hours.

• Daily Big Prize winners must respond to the notification email within 30 days. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize.

• Daily Big Prize winners must provide valid delivery details within the Republic of Ireland for fulfilment of the prize. Delivery addresses outside the Republic of Ireland will not be accepted.

Grand Prize Draw

• Participants who successfully complete the game on all 12 days will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win €1,000 in Currys vouchers (“Grand Prize”).
• The Grand Prize winner will be selected at random and contacted by Currys within 72 hours of the campaign closing date (12 December 2025).

Daily Promotion

• All participants, whether or not they successfully complete the game on a given day, will have access to a daily promotional offer from Currys. This promotion will provide a limited-time discount on the product featured that day. Instructions for redeeming the discount will be provided within the game.

General

• The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who is suspected of abusing the game mechanics, using multiple entries, or otherwise attempting to interfere with the fair operation of the promotion. Disqualified participants may be removed from all prize draws and/or have any voucher codes issued to them rendered invalid.

• The decision of the Promoter is final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered regarding the outcome of this promotion If you are the winner of this promotion, we may ask for your consent to participate in publicity arising from the prize draw.
