From the 13th of August 2005 retailers are obliged to take back WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) from members of the public free of charge.  This new EU directive ensures that all historic WEEE products are collected, treated and disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. 

How does WEEE work?
Take back is on a one-for-one basis only and the product must be of a similar type or have performed the same function as the new product purchased.  For example if you purchase a television we will take back your old television free of charge and ensure it is recycled in a safe and responsible manner.  However if you buy a iron, we will not take back your television. 

How do I return my old product?
You can return your old product at the time of sale/delivery of the newproduct.  Alternatively you can bring it to one of our stores within 15 days of the date of sale or, if delivered, within

a maximum of 30 days of the date of delivery.
